Weights:
All Modifieds must weigh a minimum of 2,400 lbs.
*No all-aluminum ‘built’ small-blocks or ‘small-block engines’ over 450 cubic inches.
*All weights are track-scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car

Tire Options (must be purpose-build dirt Modified tire – no specialty or Late Model tires):
Right-Rear: American Racer 38 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Left-Rear: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Right-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Left-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Body Rules:
Sail panels are permitted. Sail panels must be no taller than 65 inches when measured from the ground. Sail panels mirror each other in size and shape side-for-side. The must extend no further forward than the rear of the driver’s seat and no further back than the end of the quarter-panel. Angled spoiler is permitted on the rear of the roof: no taller than four inches.

All other Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco body rules will be in effect at this event. Visit the series 2018 Rules & Procedures posted on the series website for details.

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position at the pre-race drivers’ meeting. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car starting field.  Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance. Two series provisional starters, plus a track ‘buy-in’ provisional, will complete the starting field.   One driver will earn a redraw position on Friday night via a Dash event containing the fastest drivers in timed warm-ups throughout the night.

Transponders are required at this event.  One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.

STSS Crate 602 Sportsman 25 green-flag laps, $1,000 to win, $100 to start

Open to unaltered GM Crate 602 engines ONLY. No rev chip or gear rule.

Fuel:
Open fuel. Gasoline only. Sunoco is the preferred fuel of the series.

Street Stocks – 20 green-flag laps, $1,000 to win, $75 to take the green flag

General Rules:
Home track rules apply: if you are legal at Accord, Afton, Big Diamond (Roadrunner), Bridgeport (Outlaw Stock), Five Mile Point, New Egypt, Outlaw, Penn Can, The Hill, Thunder Mountain or Woodhull, you are legal for this event. 

Tire Options:
American Racer 70/245 tire only on eight (8) inch maximum width steel wheel. Bead-locks are permitted.

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance.

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.  Transponders are required for this event.

Track champions from the tracks listed above are invited to participate in a 10-lap Dash. All participants will receive a certificate for a FREE tire. Winner takes home $500 cash.

 

Northeastern Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Club (open to all Vintage Cars) – 15 laps

Drivers will draw for their starting positions. All participating race teams receive two (2) free pit passes for Saturday’s event
