Grandstand Admission: $20 (Adults); Seniors (ages 65 and over): $18; Students (ages 7-16): $8; Children 6 and under are FREE
Pit Admission: $35 (no license required)

STSS Sportsman: 69 laps, $2,500-to-win, $125 to take the green flag (*all green flag laps)

Car Eligibility:
Must be dirt-style, open-wheeled, center-steering car only. No ‘D/A” dirt/asphalt cars permitted. Tech inspector has final call on the eligibility of cars to compete. Driver Eligibility:
This event is open to ALL competitors. 60 points will be issued to all participants toward the 2018 Short Track Super Series Fueled By Sunoco Open Sportsman championship battle.

Open and Crate 602 Sportsman engines are permitted at this event. Crate 602 engines must be stock from GM and unaltered (four-barrel carburetor permitted). Open engines (two-barrel carburetor only) must fit engine guidelines for one of the following speedways: Afton, Bethel, Big Diamond, Grandview, New Egypt, Skyline or Thunder Mountain. Teams may not mix and match engine rules from various speedways.

Gasoline only. No methanol.

Crate 602 Sportsman: 2,250 lbs.
Open Sportsman: 2,450 lbs.
*Minimum weight requirements, track scale pounds, post-race with driver in car

Standard dirt Modified tires ONLY for this event. No slicks or pavement tires. Accepted tires and compounds are as follows –

Right-Rear: Hoosier D300 or harder OR American Racer 48 or harder
Left-Rear: Hoosier D300 or harder OR American Racer 44 or harder
Fronts: Hoosier D300 or harder OR American Racer 33 or harder

Standard dirt Modified bodies. No sail panels. Maximum door heights: 41 inches on the left-side, 40 inches on right side. Bethel Motor Speedway/STSS body rules apply.

Car Entry:
Early Registration: $40 (race day or pre-entry)

Drivers will draw for starting positions in three 15-lap ‘Semi’ races. The top-six drivers from each will transfer directly to the main.  The top-four drivers from each will redraw from the top-12 starting positions for the main event. B-Mains (10 laps) will transfer four (4) additional cars for a total of 22. Two (2) drivers will be added via series provisionals. One (1) Bethel Motor Speedway provisional based on track points will bring the total number of starters to 25. Provisional starters receive $100 green money.

Six drivers have access to ‘Pole Shot’ front row positions for the 15-lap Semis. They are: Tom Collins Jr., Dale Welty, Dustin Jordan, Ed Dachenhausen, Rick Mill & the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman winner on Sept. 23 at Thunder Mountain Speedway. These drivers will draw from numbers 1-6 to determine their starting positions in the 15-lap Semi events on the front row.

Race Format:
All semi and B-Main restarts will be double-file. Restarts in the main will be double-file through lap 60. Lapped cars drop to the rear in the order they are running.  The first lapped car at the time of each yellow will be waved around via the Algonkin Motel “Lap-Down, Go-Round” program.
