Race fans worldwide will be able to watch the action and excitement of every Short Track Super Series race during the 2018 season. During the series’ annual banquet this past Saturday night, series promoter Brett Deyo announced a partnership with Speed51.com that will see all STSS North Region and STSS South Region races live streamed on Speed51.com next season.
On the heels of the most successful season yet for the series, STSS officials recently revealed a 10-race schedule for the north region and an eight-race schedule for the south region. All 18 races will be available to watch live on Speed51.com.
“The ability to live-stream all our Short Track Super Series events in 2018 is a win-win-win,” Deyo said. “Racers and participating speedways benefit from nationwide exposure. Fans won’t miss a lap of racing despite their geographic location thanks to Speed51. This is an outstanding move forward for our program.”
The easiest way to gain access to watch all 18 Short Track Super Series events is to become a premium subscriber to the Speed51 Video Network. Race fans can become premium subscribers for $7.99 a month or $69.99 for a full year.
Additionally, there will be an option for users to purchase access to each event on a pay-per-view basis. Prices for each event will be determined at a later date.
“Our staff really enjoyed our experiences working with Brett (Deyo) and the Short Track Super Series staff throughout the 2017 season,” said Speed51.com Editor Brandon Paul. “The on-track product displayed by the series is second to none. We’re looking forward to showcasing their exciting brand of racing to a nationwide audience.”
Most live streams of the Short Track Super Series will be one-camera video feeds with audio from the track’s public address system.
In addition to the STSS main events, STSS Sportsman races will also be streamed live when the series competes alongside their Big-Block/Small-Block Modified counterparts.
Each race will also be available to watch on an on-demand basis shortly following the completion of each event.
Race fans can begin their Speed51 Network subscriptions today to begin watching Short Track Super Series highlights and much more from the 2017 season. Thousands of videos from short track racing events throughout the country are currently available to subscribers on an on-demand basis.
