Sail panels are permitted for this event. Sail panels must be no taller than 65 inches when measured from the ground. Sail panels mirror each other in size and shape side-for-side. They must extend no further forward than the rear of the driver’s seat and no further back than the end of the quarter-panel. Angled spoiler is permitted on the rear of the roof: no taller than four inches. All other standard STSS body rules are in effect.
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event. Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field. Provisional starters (two series, one track) establish the final three starters. Heats and consolations are 10 laps in distance.
For general and safety rules, reference the STSS Standard Operating Procedures.
One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.
GRIT Crate 602 Sportsman (25 laps, $1,000 to win, $100 to start) & Mini-Stocks ($500 to win) complete the tripleheader program.
