Saturday, October 7

Big-Block/Small-Block Modifieds – 50 green-flag laps, $5,000 to win, $400 to take the green flag

Race No. 8 of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series Fueled By VP Halmar International Sportswear North Region ($12,500 to the 2017 series champion)

Weights:
All Modifieds must weigh a minimum of 2,400 lbs.
*All weights are track scale pounds; weights are taken post-race, with the driver in the car
*All-aluminum small-blocks are not permitted on the Short Track Super Series

Tire Options (must be purpose-build dirt Modified tire – no specialty or Late Model tires):
Right-Rear: American Racer 38 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Left-Rear: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Right-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Left-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

Body Rules:
Sail panels are permitted for this event. Sail panels must be no taller than 65 inches when measured from the ground. Sail panels mirror each other in size and shape side-for-side. They must extend no further forward than the rear of the driver’s seat and no further back than the end of the quarter-panel. Angled spoiler is permitted on the rear of the roof: no taller than four inches. All other standard STSS body rules are in effect.

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 10 laps in distance.

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.

TRANSPONDERS ARE MANDATORY AT THIS EVENT.

Please Note: American Racer Cup track champions will take part in one-on-one match races. All participants will receive a certificate for a FREE tire. Winner takes home $2,000 cash courtesy of American Racer/Lias Tire.


Trackside Products Street Stocks – 20 green-flag laps, $1,000 to win, $75 to take the green flag

General Rules:
Home track rules apply: if you are legal at Accord, Afton, Big Diamond (Roadrunner), Bridgeport (Outlaw Stock), Five Mile Point, New Egypt, Outlaw, Skyline, Thunder Mountain or Woodhull, you are legal for this event. 

Tire Options:
American Racer 70/245 tire only on eight (8) inch maximum width steel wheel. Bead-locks are permitted.

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance.

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.

Please Note: Track champions from the tracks listed above are invited to participate in a 15-lap Dash. All participants will receive a certificate for a FREE tire. Winner takes home $500 cash.


IMCA-Modifieds – 20 green-flag laps, min. $400 to win, $75 to take the green

General Rules:
All cars must meet all specs of the IMCA rule book: www.imca.com.

Qualifying:
Heat-race lineups will be determined via a draw for position. Top qualifiers will transfer to the redraw; other remaining qualifiers go to the main event.  Consolations, with top finishers transferring, will set the remainder of the 24-car base starting field.  Heats and consolations are 8 laps in distance.

Northeastern Vintage Dirt Modified Racing Club (open to all Vintage Cars) – 15 laps

Drivers will draw for their starting positions. All participating race teams receive two (2) free pit passes for Saturday’s event.

 

Friday, October 6

STSS Sportsman 35 green-flag laps, $1,500 to win (*with “Gambler’s Fee” pre-race), $125 to start

Race No. 5 of the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Fueled By VP Sportsman Series ($1,500 to the 2017 series champion)

Weights:
Open Sportsman (two-barrel carburetor): 2,400 lbs.
Crate 602 Sportsman (no chip or gear rule): 2,350 lbs.

Tire Options (must be purpose-build dirt Modified tire – no specialty or Late Model tires):
Right-Rear: American Racer 38 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Left-Rear: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)
Right-Front: American Racer 33 compound or harder (any track/series stamp)

FWD Four Cylinders: 20 green-flag laps, $250 to win, $40 to take the green flag

General Rules:
Standard Southern Tier rules accepted. FWD only. If you are legal at Five Mile Point, Penn Can, Skyline, you are legal for this race.

Qualifying:
Drivers will draw for heat races, 6 laps in distance, and will start the feature event via a head’s-up start.

One-way radios are mandatory. The frequency is 454.000.
